The Library of Korea National Defense University Thank you for visiting the Korea National Defense University Library, the largest hub of academic information on security and defense.
Since its opening in 1955, our library has provided education and academic information to teachers and students as well as domestic and foreign security and defense experts.
Internally, we have 540,000 valuable books, mainly in the fields of security and national defense. In addition, we are focusing on expanding electronic materials such as academic DB, web content, and e-books.
- All facilities support research and learning activities through RFID-based book management automation system, and we are pursuing various changes. For example, we make the library a complex cultural space for reading, culture, relaxation, and communication along with academic sharing.
- Externally, it operates the National Defense Digital Library (NDDL) integrating 75 library branches under the Ministry of National Defense,and strengthens the defense academic information sharing and cooperation network.
- The Korea National Defense University Library will do its best to become a representative library in the field of national security and defense through the collection of academic information, the establishment of information infrastructure, and the operation of specialized facilities and services.
